For everyone who has ever felt like the wrong shape.

A bedtime picture book about being different, friendship and teamwork, for ages 2 to 8.

The story: a couch, a dream, and friends who aren’t the wrong shape

At the edge of a dusty desert town lives a girl named Klo and her little dog, Sprinkles. Klo loves color more than anything, but everything around her is brown, and the old couch in the corner is the dingiest thing of all.

One evening she finally uncaps her magical paint markers and covers that couch in a frog, a cow with a flower behind her ear, a firefly, a sleepy moon, and a little pup named Nakash. That night, the frog blinks.

The painted friends want to carry Klo to the town by the sea she dreams about. But first they have to stop trying to be the same shape, and find out what each of them is good at.
